I have always liked to take portraits. And I have always been fascinated by street photography. Now I have managed to combine these two interests and started an Instagram account called Portraits by Peter.

This is not candid street photography. I will always ask the people I meet if I can take their portrait. My intention is to meet people and when there is time, get to know them as much as possible given the short time we meet.

Please feel free to follow me on my journey and of corse follow me on Instagram.

Maybe we will meet sometime so that I can take your portrait 🙂

They came for Esther when she was my sisters age.
Sara and David were younger than my kids. And Glenny, was the same age as my son. These people lived here. People like you and me.

Out of the over 67 000 ”stolpersteine” in 22 countries, some are placed in the streets of Oslo. After the invasion of Norway, 773 jews were deported, most of them straight to Auschwitz where women and children were gassed immediately.
